Great food, great restaurant, super nice service

The food was delicious even if the menu was very small. Only the service was pretty bad and the waiting time was enormous in my opinion.

New tenant Good Franconian cuisine

Nice and quaint, unfortunately I had previously asked whether you can pay with Ec and was answered in the affirmative. Then the bill came only with cash payment, so walk to the car and scrape everything together. Unfortunately, there was also no continuous warm kitchen.

Had a very good lunch, especially friendly staff. However, you don't necessarily expect Thuringian dumplings in a typical Franconian restaurant, otherwise everything is great.

1 point less because you can't pay by card and the cordon bleu was definitely TK. But the beer garden is nice and cozy.

I wanted to drink a Russian, so the waitress said if I drink two they can bring me one, but if I only drink one then I would have to drink something different. I thought it was a shame. Everything became very expensive, food was better before ... not much choice. A little disappointing.

Very friendly service, food is OK but certainly not more than good average. Good Franconian beers but a very clear wine list. The garden restaurant is cozy and a photo of the old mill wheel is a must (stairs to the left of the entrance lead to the mill canal). There is cake in the afternoon that is really delicious. Unfortunately, the meal takes a long time (> 60 min) which is very, very annoying and has a star deduction as a consequence.

Unfortunately it is not what it was since the lease. Service friendly and nice. The food, however, has decreased significantly. The ham platter is too expensive for what is on offer. And generally very little choice. Sometimes the company seemed very overwhelmed. And that although not all capacities can be exhausted at the moment.

I found the Sauerbraten absolutely delicious. Nice hosts. However, you should pre-order in these times!

Good value place to stay. Rooms basic but clean and roomy. Need to bring your own soap and hairdryer.
